Ex-Devils Ruck/Forwards looking to make an impact in the the AFL

Two ex Devils Ruck/Forwards Mabior Chol (right) and Matty Eagles (left) are looking to make an impact on the AFL this year with the Richmond Tigers and the Brisbane Lions respectively.

Matty Eagles was drafted as a Category B rookie at Brisbane after winning the FOX8 TV show The Recruit last year. He will be entering his first year in 2017 and wants to prove to everyone that he is capable of playing at AFL level. A dream match-up in Round 4 at the Gabba might be ambitious for the two rookies, but with the JLT Community Series pre-season starting this weekend we might get to see them in action sooner rather than later.
