On Saturday the fourth of February the Brisbane Lions Football Club had its family day at Yeronga. It was also the first day that we opened the Yeronga Room for trade. Around 2000 fans showed up to support the Lions and check out the new facilities at Cansdale Street. more

The AGM will be held from 2pm Saturday, 17 December 2011, in the rebuilt Yeronga Room, Cansdale Street. All members are invited to attend. All people interested in nominating for a position on the Committee in 2012 should contact the Club at devils@YerongaFC.com.au for more information.
November 17 is the first day of training moving in to the 2012 season. Under lights at the recently upgraded Yeronga Football Club begininng at 6pm. Training will include a meet and greet some ball skill work and a chance to blow off the off-season cobwebs. All are welcome.
Matty Lockyer finished first in Yeronga South Brisbane's senior best and fairest count ahead of Shane McGrath and Heath Hart. Heath's brother Cody won the reserves count, Nathan Johnson won the thirds, Fletcher Fraser won the under 18s count while Kate Lutkins picked up the womens player of the year.
Although in unlikely positions, Matty Lockyer and Heath Hart have made the AFLQ State Association team of the year. Matt was selected at full back while Heath was picked on the half back flank.
